Clear expectations so lessons stay simple for everyone — rescheduling, cancellations, and what happens when your swimmer is sick.
Individual lessons are billed on the Monday morning of the week the lessons take place, covering that week, Monday through Sunday — nothing is owed when you book an individual lesson. Subscription packages work differently: they are charged monthly, on the same date each month as the day you bought the subscription. The price you see is the price you pay — card processing is included, and there is no booking fee, registration fee or annual fee.
Prices are changing on October 5, 2026. Private lessons with a senior coach move from $74 to $77, and other lessons rise by a similar amount. The price follows the lesson date — any lesson that takes place before October 5 is at the current rate, and any lesson on or after that date is at the new one, including lessons rescheduled into October. If you are on a subscription or have lessons prepaid, nothing changes until your package runs out or your subscription renews.
For individual lessons, you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment with no penalty. If you have signed up for a subscription, lessons can be rescheduled within that subscription's time frame. Just use your account on the scheduling page to move the lesson to a new time.
For individual lessons, cancellations must be made by 8:00am on the Monday that the week of lessons begins in order to avoid billing. Cancellations made after that deadline, but at least 48 hours before the lesson, are refunded 50%. Monday lessons are the one exception — they fall on the billing day itself, so they follow the 48-hour rule below.
If you are on a subscription and need to cancel a single lesson, it is rescheduled the same way as any other lesson — within your subscription's time frame.
A subscription package itself can be cancelled any time before its renewal date. You will receive a reminder email 7 days ahead of each renewal, so you have a week to decide. If a subscription is cancelled, the free lessons included with the package no longer apply.
These timelines exist for a reason: our coaches rely on a set schedule of pay, and pool rental is paid whether or not a lesson takes place.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a lesson, and no-shows, are charged the full lesson fee. Pool time is reserved specifically for your swimmer, so we are not able to fill it at short notice.
If your swimmer is sick, please keep them home. For individual lessons, sick cancellations are rescheduled within two weeks at no additional charge. For subscription packages, missed lessons are rescheduled within your subscription's time frame. Either way, just let us know as soon as you can.
If weather cuts a lesson short, the deciding factor is how much of it took place. Once at least 20 minutes of the lesson has happened, it counts as a full lesson. If less than 20 minutes took place, your coach will arrange a makeup lesson within two weeks.
Occasionally a coach needs to cancel a lesson, or the pool closes and we cannot hold lessons that day. When that happens, you will be offered rescheduling options. If none of those times work for your family, a credit is applied toward another lesson — you are never left paying for a lesson that did not happen.
