Every lesson is 30 minutes, taught by a certified coach, at a heated 90°F saltwater indoor pool. Private, semi-private, and Happy Baby Water Time at Holbrook Woodstock and Acworth — tailored instruction from 6 months to adults.
One-on-one instruction fully tailored to your swimmer's level and goals. The fastest path to water safety and confidence — for babies, beginners, and competitive year-round swimmers.
Swimming with a sibling? Book them together rather than as two separate lessons — choose the second-child option when you book. Each child still gets their own 30-minute private lesson at the standard rate, back to back, or at the same time when two coaches are free. It keeps your lessons in one block instead of scattered across the day.
Two swimmers at a similar level — siblings or friends — share the lesson. It lowers the cost per swimmer, and families often carpool. Children encourage each other and push each other along. For siblings it becomes family time at the pool, where they learn to take turns and keep each other safe.
Booking two swimmers? Book one semi-private slot and add your second swimmer when you book — both children share the same 30-minute lesson, taking turns with the coach, and both are in the water the whole time. The price above is per swimmer.
Parent-and-baby sessions designed to build water comfort and safety habits from the very start. Classes run Friday and Saturday mornings, 30 minutes, up to 4 swimmers. The earlier we start, the more natural the water feels.
Come when it suits you. There is no course to sign up for and no set number of weeks. Book whichever Fridays and Saturdays work for your family — one a week, both days, or just the occasional class when your schedule allows.
Coming most weeks? The subscription works out cheaper than booking class by class — see the subscription →
One coach, one child, one parent — and you’re in the water the whole time. Taught by Coach Kelly or Coach Shanna, both certified and trained for children who find water scary.
Not every trip to the pool should be a lesson. Most of it should be play. What matters is that underneath the playing, your swimmer can find air and get themselves to safety.
16 lessons over 7 weeks, built to move a swimmer from first comfort to real skill — and the 17th and 18th lessons are free. Most of our families come once a week, and that works beautifully. But if you ever have a stretch — a school break, a quieter couple of months — where you could come more often, this is a very smart use of that time.
The ladder sets how many lessons per week. You choose the dates and times that work for your schedule. 16 lessons across seven weeks, plus 2 free — 18 in all, booked at purchase. Afterward, most families go back to once a week.
Lessons close together let a child build on what they did yesterday, while it is still fresh. It helps most with a child who arrives nervous — of the water, of a stranger, of somewhere new. A frightened child might be carrying a scary story around in their head, and lessons that are closer together will help make that story comforting far sooner than one lesson per week.
It takes time to build a skill that will last a lifetime. Put in the time now to build a solid foundation and your child will learn to swim like they love it — smart and safe.
That is 16 lessons at the usual price — $77 each with a senior coach at Woodstock, $67 with a junior coach or at Acworth. The ladder runs across seven weeks, which spans two billing cycles, so it is charged as two monthly payments rather than one lump sum.
Short on time but want real progress? A Swim Boost packs 3 or 4 private lessons into a single week during school breaks — perfect for a quick refresh, a head start on summer, or extra stroke work before swim team. Pick one time and you swim at that time every lesson day that week. New and current swimmers welcome.
Get in gear for summer! Three lessons in one week refresh the skills your swimmer learned last season — rolling to find air, floating, getting to the wall and strokes — and show what still needs work, so you know whether more lessons would help before pool season.
School’s out, summer’s in! Four lessons the first week of the break refresh last season’s skills, build water safety and confidence for beginners, and give summer league swimmers extra stroke work — while showing what still needs work, so you know whether more lessons would help this summer.
Get in gear for pool season! Four lessons in a row the week of Memorial Day refresh the skills your swimmer learned last season and show what still needs work, so you know whether more lessons would help before summer vacations, pool parties and swim team.
All Swim Boosts are 30-minute private lessons with Coach Kelly at Holbrook Woodstock. Spots are limited — once a time is taken, it disappears from booking.
Two questions almost every parent asks us.
We do not have a single answer to this question, because there are too many variables. For example:
This and so much more affects how many lessons it will take. Our suggestion is once you start taking swimming lessons, continue with the lessons until not only the swimmer but the parent and the coach feel like a solid foundation has been built for safety around the water as well as swimming skills.
Quite a lot, and none of it requires a pool. It is all about introducing water in a calm, peaceful way:
Keep it playful. A child who is comfortable with water on their face and in their ears arrives at that first lesson with a real head start.
