Help keep kids safe in the water. We’re looking for people who love children, care about preventing drowning, and are eager to learn.

Who we’re looking for

Maybe you’re…

  • An adult ready for a job change — to work that makes a difference and changes lives for the better
  • Someone with experience teaching or supporting children with special needs, or children who are neurodivergent — many of our swimmers would benefit from it, but it is a bonus, not a requirement
  • A teacher or daycare worker who is comfortable in the water
  • A parent with extra time during school hours, evenings or weekends
  • A high school graduate who isn’t sure about a career yet, has swimming experience, and wants to help children be safe around water

Most of all, you love children, are eager to learn, and believe in slowing down to truly teach — never rushing a child.

Full training

Comfortable in the water? We’ll teach you the rest. You’ll learn the Swimming and Beyond method from Coach Kelly and shadow our team before teaching on your own. A swimming background is a plus, but the right heart and the energy to help others matter most.

A flexible schedule

Between Holbrook Woodstock and Acworth, lessons are offered 7 days a week, from as early as 8:00am until 7:30pm — during school hours, evenings and weekends — so together we can find a schedule that fits your life and the needs of our families.

To begin

CPR and First Aid certification is required before you start coaching.

Interested? Call or text Coach Kelly at or email swimmingandbeyond@gmail.com.
